About this app

Everybody gets moody. Moods are a natural part of your emotional rhythm. Tracking them can help you find patterns in how your moods vary both over time and how they’re influenced by different situations and circumstances.

You probably already know that you feel good when you are in a positive mood, such as when you feel powerful, loving, or optimistic. And, you probably already know you feel bad when you are in a negative mood, such as when you feel anxious, scared, or sad. Other times, you might not really understand how you feel.

With this app you can record your mood and associate it with a wide range of emotions and triggers. This will help you track your thoughts as a daily journal, providing you with a visual representation so you can understand your moods and help you manage them so you can feel better.

- Become more aware of your feelings and emotions
- Create a space to reflect on your feelings and emotions
- Recognize patterns and triggers
- Make better decisions related to triggers and moods
- Share your mood checks with your therapist and get the support you need

With Moodlight Premium you can:

- Get stats: see your overall mood/emotion/trigger breakdowns and spot trends and patterns
- View history: browse your previous entries and see how your moods and responses change over time

Nice layout but the app is regularly a day behind and you can't change it to the correct day. In the past I have accidentally recorded current moods as yesterday's mood which leads to confusion when I try to assess my entries. You have to wait almost all day for the day to change in app so you can record your mood for the right day. If they fix this glitch it would be a better app.

hello, I'd like to request a refund. the concept of tracking mood is great, but the design doesn't effectively support the objective: for one, the # of emotions to select from are very limited (there is a broad range of emotions, exploring and recognizing the nuances is what I'd like the app to help me with and build more awareness). the app doesn't allow me to add a simple emotion like "hopeful". I want to tack my emotions but this app doesn't serve my objective.

I don't understand why there is a word limit. Insight Timer has a part that asks you to reflect on your mood, and I understand Insight Timer has no where near as many emotion options as Moodlight does, however the thing I like about Insight Timer is there is no word limit, and it's a lot easier to type, while with Moodlight you have a max of 1000 words and you can't even see what you're typing because the box doesn't move up or down, you have to drop your keyboard and tap the box again to see.
