For someone who wants to get into mahjong, the in-game aid to help with making sure you know what to keep and discard as well as the multiple time options is very good for new players. I'm a bit annoyed that so many customizable options are bogged with the difficulty to get in-game currency and the high in store prices, but since most are cosmetic and don't affect the gameplay, it's a great game.

Probably the best english mahjong online game. The tutorial covers the basics, but does not prepare you for the first game. Be prepared to spend week or two playing without a clue, and repeat the tutorial few times until you start understanding the rules. I spent more than one week until the first victory, but it was a fun journey.

If you wanted to try and learn Riichi Mahjong as a beginner or wanted to simply play some games for free? You've come to the right place! Think of the tiles like poker cards. You're trying to create a winning hand. Getting rid of 1s & 9s will help build towards 'All Simples'. You need 4 sequences and/or triplets with a pair to win to call Tsumo or Riichi. While the tutorial is passable and does cover some of the basics. You'll have a better time watching some guides on YouTube.
