Truly an abysmal experience. Remote Desktop app has been replaced and in typical Microsoft fashion, the replacement is hot garbage. Remote PC connections take 30+ seconds to establish now, with no reported errors or warnings, just a MASSIVE delay. Remote Desktop app was instantaneous each and every time. Very disappointing but sadly not surprising. I may end up switching to another tool if this isn't resolved shortly.

Such a bland name! Try Googling Windows App and see how many irrelevant results you get. Thankfully, the massive thumbnails for each PC can now be reduced (although the app forgets this option if you back out of the app to exit). I can't see how to scan my network to retrieve computer names which you need to set up a connection. Luckily, I still have the old RD app so had to use that to grab names.

This is supposed to be a superior product to Remote Desktop. I never had constant random disconnects with remote desktop like I have with the Windows App. As it is I'm about to uninstall this and try to find a copy of remote desktop or an alternative that is better than this garbage replacement. Microsoft should have left Remote Desktop alone and just had the Windows App as a separate app.
