About this app

Create clips directly from the app! Paste in a URL or upload a file, trim your video, select regions you want to highlight and share directly to socials.

Cross Clip is the easiest way for live streamers to turn Twitch clips and other short videos into content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms.

One of the most effective ways to grow your channel and gain viewers is to post content across multiple platforms, but layouts and orientations are fundamentally different when you’re live streaming. Cross Clip makes it easy to post your content across multiple platforms and gives your channel the best opportunity to reach more viewers and grow your audience.

GET CLIPS
Head to crossclip.streamlabs.com to get started. Either enter the URL of the Twitch clip you would like to use or upload the video file. Once imported, you’ll be taken to the editor.

EDIT
Select a preset layout or start from scratch. You can add and rearrange layers, clip your videos, and drag content boxes around the screen. When you’re finished, click compile.

OPTIMIZE
Once you are happy with your clip, select your desired frames per second (FPS) and output resolution (720 or 1080). You can remove the watermark and outro video.

DOWNLOAD
Once you’ve clicked compile, open this app and log in with Twitch to see all your clips in one place. Download, delete, or share your clips on different platforms. You will also receive an email notification when your clip has finished compiling.

SHARE
On each video, you’ll have the option to share directly to TikTok and other platforms when they’re available.

Happy clipping!

So... It works when you paste a clip link into it, fair enough, that's fine, not a problem. The problem comes when you select a video from your storage. It crashes and close down. I've also had loads of crashes when trimming clips down in the in app editor, and when moving the camera and gameplay selections around, but not as much as the trimming. But if you can work through them issues it's fine.

Good idea, just has a few glitches. Whenever I export the file, I cannot find the file anywhere on my phone's storage & the only way to upload is drectly from CC's share button. If you're uploading clips as is, it's great, but if you want to edit them any further than how they are on Twitch, it isn't very helpful and it's nearly impossible to get the file out of CC and into your editor app.

Doesn't work on Galaxy S10+ app keeps crashing. Tried everything. Phone is up to date. Tried restarting phone. Tried using with mobile data then switching to wifi. App still crashes with video uploads from phone. 300mb just an example of the file size. Will get to editing step where you can resize the window of content or camera and as soon as you try clicking on drop down menu it freezes and app closes on its own. Disappointing. Uninstalling..

We are sorry that you faced that issue. In the last build we improved the video upload process. Could you update the app and give it one more try? If the fix didn't work please submit a ticket to support@streamlabs.com and include your app version as it would give us more insight.

What's new

In this update, we’ve made a significant change to CrossClip:

Due to recent changes in YouTube’s API, the option to download clips and videos from YouTube has been removed. This update ensures that we remain compliant with YouTube’s policies while continuing to focus on improving other features of the app.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to make CrossClip an even better experience for you!
