APR = Annual Percentage Rate. All loans subject to approval. Rates are subject to change without notice. SchoolsFirst FCU has a loan program featuring a range of interest rates for some of its consumer loans. A rate is based on a variety of factors, including the applicant's credit rating. SchoolsFirst FCU's maximum aggregate personal loan limit is $50,000 per qualifying Member. This includes all individual and joint personal loan credit combined. Maximum loan term based upon amount financed.

For loans with the purpose of post-secondary education expenses, additional disclosures and completion of a self-certification form are required. The borrower must sign and complete a self-certification form before funds can be disbursed on a Special Curriculum, Higher Education, or Personal loan for the purpose of post-secondary education expenses. In addition, the borrower has a three-day rescission period. During the rescission period, the borrower can cancel the loan and the lender cannot disburse loan funds. The rescission period starts when all applicable loan documents have been signed by the borrower(s).

Lowest rate reflects a 0.75% discount for payment made by automatic transfer from your SchoolsFirst FCU account. Rates for personal loans range between 5.25% APR (min.) - 18.00% APR (max.). Loan terms for personal loans range between 4 - 60 months. Estimated payment of $3.01 per $100 borrowed based on 5.25% APR and 36 month term.

For the most part it is tolerable and handles the basics well enough. However, it still feels like it lags significantly behind apps from regular banks and other financial institutions, in terms of features and overall user interface. It would be great to see Schools First embrace and leverage AI and other new tech to offer users advanced features, like unbiased money tips, financial guidance, investment ideas, product and service comparisons, etc. There's just a ton of untapped potential here.

i have have nothing but problems with this app for YEARS. i haven't been able to deposit a check for the last 2 days via this app. it never has my proper address despite updating and going to physical branches MULTIPLE TIMES to resolve the issue.

I had to come back and change my rating of this app from 5 stars to 3, simply because there is one major problem that i have been experiencing since the beginning of this year which is when I go to open my School's First Credit Union app it doesn't even allow me to log in in fact it doesn't even load I'm having to reset my phone uninstall the app ECT. I've called customer care and Express the issue with them and they tell me that there is nothing that is going on with the app... please fix it..
