About this app

This is a photography application for RICOH THETA X/Z1/V/SC2/SC2 for Business.

By linking the camera to a smartphone, you can remotely trigger the shutter while performing a live preview, allowing you to take pictures without the reflection of people, which can be used for promotional purposes.

By uploading photos and videos to the cloud, they can be viewed in a 360-degree viewer from a browser, allowing people in distant locations to see what is happening at the site.

*This function is not compatible with RICOH THETA/m15/S/SC.

*Currently, we are expanding the functionality of the shooting function. Please refer to the following for the main functions.

Shooting function: Linking a smartphone and a camera to take still images and record video. *We plans to expand the shooting functionality.

Transfer and storage of photos and videos taken with the camera: Transfer and storage of photos and videos from the camera to the smartphone, and storage of photos and videos from the smartphone to the cloud.

Viewing 360-degree photos and videos: Viewing with a 360-degree viewer.

Download: Download captured 360-degree photos and videos.

Share links: Share links to 360-degree photos and videos uploaded to the cloud.

the app is full of problems and bugs. if I do get it to connect to the camera finally after 30 minutes of trying, there is no live preview of the picture, just a black screen. I had high hopes that this would be better than the old app but it's way worse and completely unusable.

Not sure how a new app can be worse than the one it is supposed to replace. Also, I just returned from a Japan trip with 1000+ pictures. The app transfer 100 picture and deleted the rest. I lost over 900+ pictures. I bought the Z1 when it was newly released, and was happy until this new app. I don't know what is wrong with Ricoh, but the recent lost of pictures means I cannot use the Z1 on my next trip. The Z1 was $1000. Never will I buy a Ricoh product again!!!

Astounding how bad this company is at getting their devices to interface with anything. I "register" the camera, it goes to a black screen, and then the app acts like it's never heard of the camera and I have to "register" it again.
