This review will be long. The cam phone is placed in a bookshelf suvervising our appartement. There are no windows in the screen. - Setup is fairly easy. - I had to lower the sensivity to minimum setting because I got about 50 false alarms a day on standard settings. In the videos I can see that chainging sunlight conditions sets of the motion detection easily. Still getting false alarm about once a day. - The app does not play nicely with Android 7's power saving features. It fails to put itself into the exception app list. After intial 3 days the cam phone app stopped responding. A notification said that power saving put Wardencam into power saving mode. Adding WardenCam to Anroids exception list was not eough. I disabled Android power saving entirely. - One star down because every time I quit the camera view into the main menu, a reminder pops up asking for a review. - Deleting recorded videos in the Google drive barely works. It instantly disappears in the app but usually the vids are still there when refreshing the list. Sometimes takes minutes or hours. - why do I still see the "upgrade to pro" icon after purchasing the app? does not make any sense.

This app had potential but there are some issues stopping me from using it further. I have an old tablet with very low internal disk space that I was hoping to use with this app. I installed an SD card in it to expand the memory but this app does not recognize the card and instead attempts to record video to the internal memory. Since it's so low recording doesn't work. Also, other competing apps will continue to run when you hit the home button but not this app. That was a dealbreaker for me.

The free version is limited and only good for a short time. i have had to reinstall the app on the viewer phone 7 times so far as requested by the app itself. Even though i had trouble, i paid the upgrade fee thinking it would improve my experience. it didnt. The app on the viewer is still in free mode every time i reinstall and it wont upgrade. i put in a request for support. depending on their response, i may edit this post for + or -.
