Only issue: When I beat the game, they upgrade all the opponents to max which is impossible to win matches. I've not won a single match. Add an adjustable slider and it's 5 stars again. š Amazing game. Excellent voice acting through the entire game. Fantastic animations. I enjoy the battles, there's some complexity with adjustable difficulty. Easiest $10 I've spent. The demo is short but does showcase just enough

A pile of weird choices: ginormous download for voiced story, runs well when not loading, but loads frequently... buuut animations feel slow and plodding overall. Text is tiny on mobile. Played enough to win poison fight, but already feel odd artificial tension between card-game-variance and "game outcomes affect story"... like, how? Is it just different consolation text or "save scumming or replay from start encouraged"...? Choice > rng for such a self-serious & consequences setup.

Personally, I absolutely loved the game. The combat is pretty easy and satisfying but sadly It dosent get any deeper than basic needs for a battle game but I didn't love the game for the combat the dialouge and story is what made it go from a two star to five stars, to me fully worth the cost.
