It was fun the two game's I got to play, that was before I kept getting a reconnect message which stopped my gameplay. When I eventually realised it was an app issue and not a connection issue, it baffled me, plus whenever I turned the app back on even after closing it through my settings it still brought me back to that page which must be a bug because my connection is fine.

I have been playing Chess Universe for some time, and I often come across moves that seem inappropriate or against the standard rules of chess. For example, when I move my pawn two steps forward from its original position, my opponent can still capture it as if it had moved only one step, even when there is no valid en passant situation. This feels unfair and suggests that the game may not be following proper chess rules.

It's confusing, hard to understand how to progress in the levels, you click one that seems like it should be one of the first levels but then you see it costs thousands of coins to unlock and it's a hard level. Not clear what the tutorials are or how to progress. Nice UI but bad UX...

Dear Bill, if you are referring to our CHESS LESSONS MODE, we recommend you work your way up, from the three beginner-friendly towers forward. Each tower indicates whether it is in the EASY, MEDIUM, or HARD category to help you understand the scope of the challenge. Hope this helps, Miley from CU ♟️
