App won't connect to ring light because permission to notification is blocked. There was never a request from app to enable notifications, which effectively blocked notifications from permission manager as it won't change the setting to enable notification. Probably will return device to store and spread the word on social media.

There is some problem with the Android version if this app (1.7.2). I added a MK2 device and this turns off temporarily every few minutes. This happens when I launch from 2 different Android phone brands. However the iOS version and the PC control center do not seem to have this problem. The on/off seems limited to the new light (MK2), so it may have something to do with wifi and frequency issues.

I have elgato key lights connected to the app, most of the time I can't even see them in the app. Sometimes they appear but as soon as I try to change something they disappear again. Just now I felt that the connection was uncommonly good so I tried to update the firmware on the lights in hopes that the new firmware might be better.. "firmware update failed" with no further information. So basically the app Is useless in the true sense of the word. It cannot do it's only purpose. 0/5
