extremely slow to use and as a result, it makes it very difficult to navigate. the early check in also works sometimes, doesn't work other times which makes the system extremely inconvenient. also the early check in system doesn't seem to scan passports that are not Canadian.

Hear me out. For a company that's worth 6+ billion dollars you can't get the app to run smoothly. From login issues to randomly logging you out when trying to check in for flights. I've been flying every week for the last 7 years with WestJet and the app has not been working properly for the last 3+years. WestJet if you see this I don't need a response. Just look at the reviews from many other customers.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and appreciate your feedback. We recently resolved an issue preventing our Android guests from checking in to their flights. This was fixed with the current app version (no need to update). Thank you for your patience.

Biggest issue is being logged out at the airport twice and having to sign in again to produce boarding pass at security and at boarding. Next biggest issue is where tapping the notification that there is a boarding pass ready for the next flight displays the first boarding pass in the multi-leg outbound trip...but I'm returning so I need today's boarding pass, not last week's. The security person showed me how to choose the correct boarding pass from the disguised drop-down menu. Grr.
