The app is a pretty disappointing companion to my (very expensive) purchases. The usability is mostly poor, the interface makes common operations tedious, it lacks some (imo) basic features, and worst of all, it's full of intrusive ADS. Ease off the upsell, Netvue! I'm already a customer, don't make me sick of seeing your name! But I do have hope for the product line: the service team has gone from completely overwhelmed to really killing it; hopefully the app will see a similar trajectory soon.

Nice hardware but app is mixed. We're lucky not to be impacted by the 2.4ghz restriction, but the app still leaves a lot to be desired. Navigation feels slow and somewhat unintuitive. Manual tagging is very frustrating - always suggests the same birds from the other side of the Atlantic, can't enter mammals other than the preconfigured ones. Lots of false positives motion detection with no log l living things. Notifications feel clumsy so have silenced for now and review on a daily basis.

Spent the last several days just trying to connect my Hum Feeder to our 2.4Ghz wi-fi network at home. Finally connected after NOT using the on-screen app's instructions while on the phone with support. There are several errors in their documentation which adds to the confusion. Working OK now. Video that goes through setup is out of date, none of the screens in the video match the screens in the v1.15.1 app, which was released in late March 2025.
