I like Clefs & Perfect Ear. Great software. Good options. Good interfacing. Good lessons. Exactly the apps I'm looking for. I still can't connect my Roland fp30x with it however. It pairs and shows in the upper right corner, and the settings all look correct, but doesn't acknowledge key presses in the lesson. Maybe it'll work if i get a cable.

A frustrating experience. When placing notes on a smaller screen they. often move to a different position upon release. Also, the app does not adapt to what you have difficulties with and may pseudo-randomly ask for the same thing 5 times in a row. I've had better apps before and am unhappy that I payed for extra content before thoroughly evaluating.

I'm enjoying this app a lot so far, it's been helpful for keeping my treble and bass reading skills sharp and learning to sight-read tenor clef(bleh!). I do have one big critique, and it's that the random note generation is a little TOO random sometimes. Particularly for lessons, it's silly to me how often I play one that introduces a new sharp or flat and I never have to actually play that new note because of the rng. Lessons should be more focused.
