What can be done on the free tier has been reduced to the point of being worthless, and the next step is a $30/yr subscription. I'm sick of all the software thinking they too can milk users for another subscription. I won't pay a subscription to have a handle on my front door. I won't pay a subscription for heated seats in my car, and I"m not going to pay a subscription just to do a couple things in IFTT. IFTT would have been wise to offer a $45/forever option. That, I would have paid.

This app became almost unusable. The icons and the whole ui and buttons are big like it was made for a child. One button takes up 1/3 of the screen, which is extremely inconvenient. webhooks api is simply insufficient the way it is right now, not to mention its documentation. The app itself never had a good architecture, but now it is simply bad, although ifttt has so much potential to become something professional, you are making so less of it.

What a purpose to pay for subscription if the app is not even able to display the list of Bluetooth devices and WiFi networks? Location appliers are not exact. Sometimes they work, sometimes do not. You canno trust the app behaviour, especially when it suddenly changes to paid with no real benefit. So, the toy became expensive. Not worth to be paid for.
