They really need to override whatever "automatic" theme is when redeeming rewards, as when the black QR/barcode appears on a grey background, it's useless. When the assistant is frazzled and has no way to manually enter the code, then you get to pay full price and waste time asking to have the reward reinstated elsewhere in the store (unless you can find the mystical option of 'unselect reward' in the customer support section of the app). The app is also generally confusing to navigate

Hej! We are really sorry for your bad experience. We will look into it. /IKEA app team

Nearly worst app ever. Want to start a new account - good luck. There are 2 fields for your street address & both have to be filled out, or maybe they don't? Want to buy something - good luck? 5 of the 7 items we wanted weren't available in store, or for delivery. No way to find availability at other Ikeas other than to search store by store by store. Looking for something in particular - good luck. The app doesn't have a store map. Tried to call the chat. Went to a Spanish(?) speaking menu.

A completely useless app, more of an informational catalog. If you order an item, you have no idea whether you’ll actually receive it because Ikea only checks on the day of shipping whether they can send it, not at the moment you placed the order. Another issue is that if you order multiple items and one or more are unavailable at the time of checking, they don’t ship the available ones but instead create a new order, which then goes through the same verification process again. Stone-age logic.
