About this app

This simple app displays a graph of Acceleration vs. Time on all three axes. The three components of the acceleration vector are continuously read from the selected sensor; they can be displayed together on a single grid, or each component can be displayed separately. Our app (portrait orientation, Android 6 or a newer version is required) will only work on smartphones that have at least one acceleration sensor, hardware or software. Accelerometer app can be used to study the Earth's gravitational field or to measure the mobile device's movements and vibrations. For example, it is possible to evaluate the frequency and amplitude of vibrations originating from different sources - such as small machines, or the seismic activity, or the linear acceleration of a car.

Features:

-- three acceleration sensors can be read: standard gravity, global acceleration or linear acceleration
-- free app - no ads, no limitations
-- no special permissions are required
-- this app keeps the phone's screen ON
-- sound alert when a certain level is reached
-- the sampling rate can be adjusted (10...100 samples/sec)
-- custom grid range (100mm/s²...100m/s²)

Great compared to other accelerometer apps with millions of downloads. What I only miss is possibility to adjust the time axis or save to the file. Edit: Thanks for quick response. Technically you are right, what I've meant though is that the sample axis is fixed to 200 samples (thus changing sample rate adjusts timespan show on the chart). It would be nice to adjust number of samples displayed on the chart. Changing to 5 and hoping to see it it next update. Thanks!

Thank you for your feedback. Both features you mentioned are present: the time axis can be adjusted in Settings - it is the 'sampling rate', while the last 200 samples can be saved by tapping Share, the second button from the left. Your latest suggestions will certainly be added to the next release. Microsys Team

Checkbox for sound alerts is not intuitive. Takes time to figure out how to enable alerts.

Great app for what it is used for. Although, a tiny niche is that you can't view data past like 5 seconds prior to you pausing the simulation. Large scale data would be a neat feature.
