Not entirely accurate. I used the map with sun overlay, to line up the perfect sunrise photo, with a distant lighthouse, the sun came up out the sea, and I had to walk south a few minutes to get the shot I had planned. The times were accurate, but not the direction. Editor response- Nothing to do with my compass because I wasn't using it, I'm using the lines drawn on the map in 2D mode.

Sorry you have had problems with the app. It might be that the compass sensor on your device needs calibrating. You can find instructions on this in the app. If you have any further questions on this you can contact us at support@stonekick.com. Thanks.

Fairly accurate. If you live in Northern regions it seems the sun position on the app is 20 minutes behind the actual position on the sun. That slight error won't affect your filming.

I use this app to know the Sun position during photoshoots and during trips, so I can reserve excursions during cruises, where the sun will be at its optimal position in the sky so the colors will pop out in my photos.
Hi, thanks for your feedback. We're pleased Sun Position has been helpful for your photography.
