Since this rating is for the app functionality and not the service itself (which is superb), I have to take off one star because I continuously get the same issue: after finishing the movie (all the way to the end), it keeps on staying in "continue watching" tab. There are movies I finished weeks ago and they still populating the said tab. Can this glitch be resolved? Also, a dark mode option would be nice. The whiteness in the app is blinding.

Update: the website has been brought down to the app's level (missing features). UI is okay is not the worst but easier to use external websites to check what's on MUBI. Few exclusives. You still can't turn off teaser trailers. I have had a Mubi subscription since 2014 and I finally cancelled this year. I miss what it once was but I was struggling to justify it, Mubi was once essential but after the price increases and no loyalty offers I've given up. Other better options exist nowadays.

The movies i like. The delivery is terrible. It works on my phone full stop. Try casting to my TV and I get a DRM message preventing viewing. Then I try the website on my smart TV...it freezes on every movie after 5 minutes...a brand new Samsung smart TV and optical fibre 1GB per second connection...so guess where the problem lies...cancelling my subscription.
