Meine Medikation

As part of the innovation fund project “AdAM” (application for digitally supported drug therapy management), BARMER insured people can use the digital medication plan with additional functions for their smartphone.

Scan your medication plan, which you received in paper form from your family doctor. Supplement medications that you have purchased from a pharmacy, for example for self-medication.
An intake calendar with reminder function, an integrated risk check, automatic information about possible interactions with other medications and other useful functions complement your digital medication plan.

Further information about the app can be found at www.barmer.de/meine-medikation. The use of the app is permanently free of charge and ad-free for BARMER insured persons.

Please note that using the “My Medication” app does not replace treatment and advice from a doctor or pharmacist.

The functions at a glance:

- Record medication
Record your medication by:
- Manual search/entry of medications from a database
- Scanning the barcode of the medicine packaging
- Scanning the data matrix code of your federal medication plan (BMP)

- Income plan
The intake plan offers you an overview of your current medication at the corresponding freely definable intake times.

- Memories
Determine the intervals and timing for taking your medication. “My Medication” will remind you to take it on time. Additionally, further information about the medication can be stored.

- Risk check
- In the risk check you will receive additional information, e.g. which foods you should not consume with your medication.
- These important instructions for using the medication inform you about possible interactions with other medications.

- Side effects check
Even individual medications not only have desired effects, but in some patients they also have undesirable effects, so-called “side effects”. With the side effect check you can determine whether symptoms such as: B. Headache, possibly caused by a medication.

- My profile
You can record allergies to medications and food in the personal data automatically filled by BARMER.

- Press
- Print and share your medication plan in different languages, e.g. for your next doctor's visit.
- Backup and restore data
- You can back up and restore all app data (personal data, medication and settings) to a file.

Requirements:
You can use the “My Medication” app if you are insured with BARMER and have an online user account with BARMER.
