Brilliant used to be brilliant but a while ago it seemed to go the way of a lot of apps... Dumbed down with little substance to the content. Eg the lessons on digital gates are typical. A short sentence explaining what an AND gate is. That's all the training you get... about 2 lines of text. The rest of the content consists of about 10 very simple questions all virtually identical followed by "let's check your understanding" which is just more of the same. I won't be renewing my subscription.

updated my rating on this app. it was good fun and what I learnt was interesting, I would have carried on my subscription but I have found that money can be used for a different purpose. my issue was It would not allow me to cancel my subscription, I tried to cancel through the app, it says my password is "incorrect", I request a Password Reset. click on the password reset link then I had no option to cancel my subscription on the app. This was sorted via email swiftly. Thank you

Enjoyed trying out some of the features on the free version, but it appears there's no 30 day trial availabile, so I'm not keen to do an annual plan without properly testing it out, or pay for an over-priced 1 month. Hope they re-enable trials, as the free plan is too annoying with the overly time-wasting nag screens. Edit: Thanks for the response. Unfortunately there was no trial option available where I am. I've risked it and gone for annual despite lack of trial, and it seems good :)

Thanks for your feedback! Our trials are free, so there’s no money-back guarantee needed. They roll into an annual plan unless canceled beforehand. Monthly plans are separate and don’t include trials. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to support@brilliant.org!
