15 yr user here with slightly over 1k nights booked. Used to be good. Not anymore. It is easier to gouge your eyes off than it is to reach their CS. Properties with "Request to Book" are almost always overbooked, charged upfront & then cancelled on the day of arrival with refunds taking up to 2 months. Cashback is kinda sus as the some of the supposed Cashback disappears on the day it is due. Use them to gauge prices then offer the property to pay that direct. You're welcome.

Avoid using this app. This operator is not honest. On one of their ads they say that you can cancel for free and you don't have to pay. When you book, they send you an email saying that you can't cancel and charge your credit card immediately. They have a cheap promotion on the app but when you actually book, you face many fees and the operator is not honest. I suggest you book elsewhere. It's not worth it.

I have an experience that is beyond frustrating asking for a refund that is caused due to the error in the Agoda's system. The amount that was deducted from my account was double the amount that I was supposed to pay. The money that has been deducted cannot be transferred back instantly. I need to wait for 30-90 days which is ridiculous and unacceptable as the amount of money is not small. The refund process is also not transparent, their customer service takes so long to respond.Don't use Agoda
