About this app

Advanced Car Eye 2.0 comprises two full-HD premium wide-angle cameras (front and rear windscreen cams) for your vehicle. Using proximity (radar) and vibration sensors (G sensors), it captures and records critical situations while driving and parking to use as evidence if necessary.

Advanced Car Eye 2.0 is the monitor and control panel for your cameras. You can watch and download recorded videos and images and make manual recordings.

All settings can also be adjusted using the Advanced Car Eye 2.0 app:

Woeful. There's no reason it can't be integrated into the MyBMW app/account and saved to the cloud. It only works with the car running, reatart phone first, no other apps on, Bluetooth off, away from home WiFi... very temperamental for what should be a simple view. People hook doorbells up to their phones FGS, so this should be easy. I love the cam concept, hate the app experience.

Useless, probably a white elephant. When first installed only recorded bumps in road. With a LOT of effort service people and I managed to get dash cam to record journeys. Upgraded the SD card, and the system obviously recognised the card as all the folders are there (driving, etc) but absolutely no recordings of journeys. App does not explain set up procedure. Did not expect to have to set system up again, particularly as using same mobile phone.

Terrible app, not entirely sure what the purpose of the thing is if I can only view footage when in the car with the engine on... complete waste of money. Already been back to dealer to have it looked at, its only been installed once. Even the technician didn't know what it was doing. Programmer needs sacking this is an awful bit of programming and done is most certainly not better than perfect if you are using Agile!! Shocking quality from BMW
