Meet your new Game Master. The free HeroQuest Companion App allows you to run your next tabletop game session so everyone can play as heroes! The app takes on the role of Zargon using the onscreen quest map.
Additional features include:

I have been enjoying the opportunity to play solo -- my wife isn't interested and my cats are a little TOO interested! 😆 I have not had any of the glitches or issues that previous reviews have mentioned. However, in one of the original quests, my dwarf is still standing in a room, having been turned into stone (supposedly "for 5 turns"). I have no idea how to free him. His name is Thrymm, and he'd love to be able to swing his newly-purchased battle axe again!

It's mostly good, but still some bugs. For example, we activated a treasure trap but then hit the wrong button. We hit undo, which brought us back to the character, but it wouldn't let us search the room because we already did. This is just one example. It seems strange that there is no override option and that you just have to accept the results they give you. 😐

This app is amazing as I love heroquest but have no one to play it with. It is great playing it with the app being the gamesmaster. A few tweaks would be good though like being able to record your player data through the app as well instead of on paper, treasure cards to be automatic through the app as well would be brilliant. Would recommend this to anyone who loves heroquest whether you played it in the eighties or now.

What’s new
Hail champions! The evil of Zargon has again resurfaced. Heroes, you must go to the Jungles of Delthrak, where you will face ravenous beasts and uncertain pitfalls. But also find stalwart allies and untold riches along the way. Good luck to you, brave adventurers!
