Lightning strikes are a constant threat in the southern US (I've lost two modems, a TV, and other expensive electronics to them) which makes this app and it's warnings of strikes in the area a lifesaver. This simple app has lots of handy options such as the ability to adjust the radius from your location you'd like to be warned about, etc. One of the best things is that even on the the free version there's no screen-filling ads to click through to get to the app. : )

the adds on the free version are annoying and somewhat intrusive, it has radar not convinced its accurate. but the app still has value. and does work if all you want is lightening

Generally a great app. I have to complain about the pop up ads showing up during bad weather. I need information about the on coming lightning. I do not need to know about YouTube or an Amazon special when my guy and myself might be in danger. Have the ads by all means but figure out when to flash them and when not too
