Having LG SJ9 Soundbar and its app (Music Share) came to end of life last year. This was one option to try, but it seems my Soundbar is not supported. It is quite surprising that company like LG is not capable to create one centralized app which supports all of its models. I believe that would bring decent ROiI figures for them and drives customers to their ecosystem. Current approach with multiple different apps which are killed in time to time are causing really bad customer experience.

Some of the absolute worst tech support I have ever seen. Had several problems with my soundbar within the first few weeks of purchasing it and the majority of the time they hang up the call after their trouble shooting script - which just seems to be unplugging it 30 for seconds - doesn't work. I actually work in tech support so I understand both sides and there's no way around it, they suuuuuck and LG sucks for letting it happen.

Why does this app require FULL notification access in order to provide update notifications??? "LGS Soundbar will be able to read all notifications, including personal information such as contact names and the text of messages you receive. This app will also be able to snooze or dismiss notifications or take action on buttons in notifications, including answering phone calls. This will also give the app the ability to turn Do Not Disturb on or off and change related settings."
