I played this when it was a browser game back in the day. They've brought it back as a mobile game and it works brilliantly in this format. You can play with no paying and no ads. It's pretty simple gameplay but becomes challenging in harder difficulties and generals mode. Completing achievements kept me entertained for a good while, and there's only one I couldn't eventually get without paying for hacked mode. So glad they've given us the original music, too!

Honestly, I don't have any problems with the actual gameplay. It's a lovely nostalgia game. The only reason I dropped a star is the sound. There's a sound option once you enter a match, but it's ACTUALLY a music option. It turns off the music, but the sound of troops and turrets still goes. Which is a problem for me as I can't hear my YT video playing on the mini-player with these sounds blasting out.

I used to play this almost religiously when I was in middle school at lunchtimes. It's just as I remember it. The controls are questionable at first, but I've you get the gist of it, is an easy game to play. Unfortunately, as with the original browser version, regardless of the difficulty set, it's just too easy to win. It's really one of those temporary games you download, play for an hour at most, before clearing away for something else.
