Terrible experience in setup and use. when setting up nighthawk extender to nighthawk, it will fully set it up but it refuses to acknowledge it in app and keeps retrying. Security software sends over endless stream of "nothing wrong" notifications. only way to make it stop is to disable ALL notifications.

I rely on this app, but I hate it and am rating low until it becomes more stable. I've subscribed to the Nighthawk Parental Controls for 2 years and am considering another renewal, but the app crashes every single time I go to the Parental Controls section. Clearing cache & data doesn't help. Reinstalling the app does help temporarily, but the app will crash as soon as I try to use any Parental Control features, which I'm paying for. I shouldn't have to reinstall the app every day.

Network map is no longer part of the app, and with it the ability to edit labels for devices. All but 3 labels were erased and it's difficult to know what device is online now because out of 17 devices, only 3 still have labels. The rest simply show up as unknown. The app is only good for seeing how much data I use, to know if wifi is down which my ISP sends me texts for, and to locate my router via signal strength which is useless since it's mounted to my wall in plain view. Might uninstall it.

This latest release fixes various issues and adds new enhancements.
